I bought this because our brand new car has a light colored interior, and I didn't want the junk from the street getting all over it after we used our stroller. It's essentially a canvas bag with a zipper on top, which means that the sides don't stand up on their own. Also, our Graco stroller is a bit tight in it, and it takes some work to get in in the bag. All in all, though, it gets the job done.

Given that the official BOB stroller bag is well over $100, and that this bag says it compatible with the BOB, I thought I'd give it a shot. Big mistake. While the bag is quite large, it is not large enough to fit a BOB unless you take all three wheels off. And once in the bag, I had no doubt that in that state our BOB would not survive a single flight.

It should be noted that the bag is simply a very large duffle bag. From the picture I assumed it had either some light padding or at some structural elements (e.g. rigid corners/edges) to help it hold its shape. Alas no, so the bag offers just slightly more protection than double bagging in heavy duty garbage bags (i.e. protect the contents from grime and abrasion). While that would be more than okay for our umbrella stroller or snap-n-go (which have a lot more plastic), given the important bits that stick out of a folded BOB (especially the flat metal shock brackets and front fork) I would be more surprised than not if a BOB didn't end up damaged during transport.

That said, it is a well made, gigantic duffle bag and I'm sure I'll find a use for it. But not, alas, for the purpose for which I purchased it.

My sister & i both bought this recentley for a familyu trip.. when we had problems with our return flight my brother-in-law was trying to rangle a 7yo, a 1 yr old & the stroller by himself. my sister & the 9yo had to go on a different flight...the zipper ripped open & couldn't be closed all the way at the gate! so he had to leave it that way & just board.. i chkd mine as bagage & when i got it back the zipper was ripped open as well..i fixed it after awhile, but kind of a pain.. i love the bag itself though.. very durable material & SO big.. i was able to fit the carseat base & a bunch of extra stuff in with it.. just as long as the zipper doesn't rip open so that things fall out & get lost.. i will use it again for sure, but i will probably tape it before either gate chking it or bag chking it..

I have already recommended this item to a friend. We put our jeep jogging stroller in this bag with one of the wheels off and it worked great!!! The bag held up great on both trips even transferring in Philli. I even had extra room to put some diapers and formula. This bag had no tears and I will be using it over and over! I know that every airline is different and I read the reveiws on how done of the bags had torn, I think it all depends on the airline because I once had United rip off one of my wheels on a roller bag. Over all it's completely worth the money out stroller was kept clean and free from damage!

This JLC Stroller Travel Bag was great for our trip. I didn't realize how large the bag was and we were able to put additional items for the baby in the bag. The only thing that was an issue was the durability. After the first use, the bag had three holes in it. It still protected the stroller and things, but now my wife has to try to sew it up. For all I know, the guys unloading the stroller dragged the bag up to the door and caused the damage. All in all it is a great large bag and protected our City Mini from the dirt under the plane.
