Why purchase the Aura Select Stroller? Because it's packed with comfort for baby and convenience for Mom. The Evenflo Aura is a mid-size stroller that features loads of thoughtful amenities and holds children up to 40 pounds. One-hand steering for easy maneuverability. The retracting childs tray does not hit ground when folding and allows for easy storage. But perhaps what you will love most about the Aura Stroller is its considerable storage space and convenience features. The parent tray h

"Super stroller, but doesn't fold compactly" 2010-07-17By
Joni Z. (DeMotte, IN)
This is a beautiful stroller and seems very cushy for my little guy. Love the added extras like the cupholder design. I test drove it around the house and it seems to be a very smooth ride. Unfortunately, I had to return it because it does not fold compactly enough to fit in my Tahoe's cargo space. I will say the Tahoe does not have generous cargo space, but this particular stroller does not fold as compactly as my former Evenflo as my last Evenflo stroller was able to fit into our vehicle. Big bummer. I will say Amazon's service was amazing!
"New Changes Not That Great" 2010-04-16By

I bought this stroller as a replacement for my 5 year old Evenflo Aura stroller that I had absolutely loved but finally wore out and needed a new single stroller. I knew they had made some changes but I liked the color scheme best so thought I would try. I knew before buying that they had changed the basket design in terms of the front is now mesh rather than solid fabric. They did this to allow for easy front access. I do not like this feature because the basket goes all the way to the front now and when my 2 1/2 year old daughter gets in the stroller on her own her shoes go into this mesh area so anything that you have in the basket area in the front her dirty shoes brushes up against all that. Also when she is just sitting in the stroller she rests her shoes back into this area. I usually have our clean coats or diaper bag with extra juice cups in that area and I do not like the idea of her dirty shoes resting against those items...there is no solid protection. Also if her shoes are ever wet then I don't want those items to get wet from her shoes either. Also she puts lots of pressure on the basket since it is so close to the front when she gets in and I feel that down the road it may rip the basket. I like the old basket where there is solid fabric to protect and their feet put no pressure on it since it sits further back. If you don't care about this then you probably would love the easy access to the front of the basket since it is released by velcro to open.
The other change they made was to the cup holders. The old style has automotive cup grippers shaped like a star that fit virtually any size cup and you can put any cup in with just ONE hand quickly. The new style now has a tight fabric rubber band that runs through the middle of the cup holder and expands to fit different sizes. The problem with this is that for most cups you can't just put them straight in...you have to put it in at a certain angle in order to use one hand otherwise it just sits on top of the rubber band if you try to put it straight down. To me you shouldn't have to think about it...should just fit on first try. Some cups that are larger don't even work at the angle so then you have to use TWO hands in terms of one hand pulls back the rubber band and the other places the cup. Personally I like the old style with the ease of just using one hand and all cups fit on first try! Plus I like that with the old style a kid can place the cup easily on their own whereas with this new style my 5 year old and 2 1/2 year old needed help to place their cups back in...not very convenient.
I am returning this stroller and purchasing either the Evenflo Aura Montara or Centerville which have the old designs for the cup holders and basket which I loved and served my needs perfectly for 5 years. I don't like the color schemes as well as the Metro but function outweighs looks for me.
